Read moreMany of you will have noticed the changes taking effect at MAZ. Some obvious ones are the planting of large specimen Phoenix Palms, donated by Margie and Reade Murray. These have already greatly enhanced the visual impact of the park. We also now have underground power in place, and are in the process of organising some task lighting for the skate facility as well as more subtle ambient street lighting…
Read moreJason Parks and his team are on the final stages of completing the 2nd kidney-shaped skate bowl. This new attraction to the skate park will challenge and entertain our most enthusiastic skaters. Diggers have been working to form the flat areas around the bowls to link them together once this new bowl is complete. Progress Photos:
Read moreJohn Sutcliff has hand crafted and donated to MAZ an amazing longboard which is made from redwood. The longboard is truly beautiful and an absolute work of art. It is currently on display in the Smashed Pipi Bar and well worth a visit to the Smashed Pipi bar to view it. The redwood longboard will be raffled off as a fundraiser. Raffle ticket sales will be announced soon.
